Back in 1952, a clever pilot back home from WWII bought 2,000 army surplus mummy sleeping bags for $1.50 each. He set up shop under a tent pitched in a field in Portland, Oregon, and quickly sold all his merchandise, reaping a modest profit. Today, G.I.
