Sunburst Technology is a division of Houghton Mifflin Company engaged in creating and publishing teaching materials.
About half of our products are computer-based programs for grades K-12 that include, among others, problem solving, early learning, tools, language arts, and mathematics. The remaining half of our products are video programs for grades K-12 that include conflict resolution, self esteem, drug education, sex education, and success skills.
We've been creating educational products for schools since 1972. Since our beginning, our goal has been to help the teacher (and parent) be more effective in teaching their children. It is our belief that open-ended, involving, interesting programs do that best. And this is what we enjoy designing, building, and publishing.
Sunburst Technology's guiding philosophy is to help classroom teachers effectively use programs that actively engage students in creative learning and problem solving. We are known for the quality of our products, our generous preview and trade-in policies, and the friendliness and competence of our customer service and technical support staffs.
