DinnerBroker strives to make fine dining restaurants more accessible to price-sensitive consumers by rewarding customers who dine during off-peak hours. DinnerBroker's Off-Peak Discounts are designed to shift demand from peak hours to off-peak hours and to encourage Dining out at fine dining establishments versus other dining alternatives. DinnerBroker's Prime-Time Reservations are designed to provide a last minute option to consumers. Instead of turning away last minute requests during peak demand hours, our partner restaurants offer a small number of their tables for availability to last minute planners via DinnerBroker. We feel that consumers are willing to pay more in certain situations such as important business dinners, birthdays, anniversaries and other special events. It is our belief that at some point during the year, every consumer is a potential DinnerBroker Off-Peak Discount customer and a potential DinnerBroker Prime-Time Reservation customer.
DinnerBroker's goal is to drive incremental, high-margin customers to our partner restaurants through efficient pricing of reservation time slots. We believe that both restaurants and Restaurant customers will benefit from peak and off-peak pricing of reservations in the same way that such practices have benefited the airline and hotel industries. Unlike the airline and hotel industries, the Restaurant industry is extremely fragmented. DinnerBroker, therefore, provides a critical function in aggregating supply so that our distribution partners do not have to establish relationships with each individual Restaurant. Most importantly, DinnerBroker has the ability to match consumer demographics with specific table inventory, leading to higher conversion rates and attractive revenue sharing opportunities for our partners and affiliates.
